New Summer Wardrobe Spreads through Stoller

Girls sun dress from Pac Sun
Students at Stoller Middle school have been longing for the Summer Sunshine to come back to Portland. Throughout the year, our school trends have changed from season to season. But now instead of sweats and sweatshirts, on any possible sunny day, students break out their summer clothes (even if it's cold out, but still sunny). For girls, a new trend is wearing high-waisted skirts with a t-shirt tucked in. "It's just really cute, especially the floral flowy skirts." Said anonymous, seventh grade. Another trend for female students is the obvious shorts. New trends coming along are casual dresses. Casual Dresses are expected to get more popular as summer gets closer. Flip flops are a major change also. Though some students wear flip flops year round, most prefer to wear them only in summer, so they wear some sort of UGG, tennis shoes, or Vans shoes.
Boys Cargo Shorts from AE
For male students, the usual basketball shorts are being worn, and jeans. But a new type of Boy's shorts that are being worn are Cargo Shorts. As more and more boys see each other wearing these shorts, the more popular it will get. Shoes that boy students wear at Stoller are usually Nike's and Vans. Yet another trend has been spreading not only in Stoller, but other schools also. Calve high socks. They usually from the sports they play, yet it can also be purchased at Nike stores, etc.
Boys and Girls from Stoller usually shift toward the more comfier clothing for now. Such as yoga pants for girls, and sweats or jeans for boys.
Considering Portland's Bi-polar weather, you never know when the next chance is for student's to whip out their new amazing summer attire. Cross our fingers and hope for some sunny and hot weather!
