BOTTLED ROCKETS IN SCIENCE

What’s up with people’s bottled rockets in science class?

The real question this week is what’s up with everyone’s rocket? First off in every eighth grade science class we are building bottled rockets out of two liter bottles. It seems like everyone is stressing out over this because deadlines are due next week! Some people haven’t even started their rocket yet. Hank said that some of his best features is “the parachute, it looks really cool it has a good egg compartment.” He also thinks that his rocket will pass because “the parachute will work.” And I also asked him if he had more time what would you change about your rocket? His response was that he “didn’t have to do anything.” He also said that he will be done by the deadline. Matt D said that his best features of his rocket was that he has “three fins, a nosecone, a parachute, and an egg compartment.” He also said that he would also pass because “I worked really hard on it.” I asked him if he would be done by the deadline and he said “yes.” He to has nothing to work on to make it better if he had more time. Hunter said that his best features of his rocket were that he had “three soda bottles, a parachute, and a paper nosecone. I asked him if he thought his rocket could pass and his response was “no because im not going to be done.” I also asked him if he had more time what would he change about his rocket and he said “ill make it better.”

So as you could tell most people are done with their bottled rocket and they are actually pretty good as I could tell by the practice launches that we have together. And some people aren’t done or have even started their bottled rocket and they really need to buckle down and work on their bottled rocket.
