Should We Fight This War?

People wonder if the Afghanistan war is actually just a pointless war that will never end

         All Americans  remember the day the twin towers were destroyed by a group of terrorist who hijacked four planes a crashed them in the year/date September 11, 2001. People have feared terrorist a lot more ever since. We have surveyed people that say that even in school people talk about terrorist much more often, even in jokes. I say that this means that this is why America is going to the source of the problem in Afghanistan. The American army went to Afghanistan to stop the terrorist problem, and after they have been half way across the world for almost nine years now, and people are wondering of this war is pointless and winless. If we have been across the world for over nine years now and there is still no productiveness going on, then that would mean that we are over there doing nothing.

            People who are terrorist could be any random citizen who has given up on life and could easily go up to an American soldier and pull a grenade taking them both. "This makes the bad guys well hidden" said a teacher in red hall. We have lost a grand total of 1,010 American soldiers in this pointless war, along with at least ten thousand wonded. Now think of all the families that these people were part of, and the wives and children who will never see there husbands or dads again. And some more heart-breaking news is that Obama is sending more troops to Afghanistan to try to finish this war. Do you think this is right or do you not think this is right?
