The Top Seen and Want Too

Students look forward  to new movies

What are the most popular movies teens and teachers want to or have seen in the year 2010? The answer is simple. The top three movies that teachers and students are looking forward to are Iron Man Two, Twilight Eclipse and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part One. The most popular movies already in theatres or soon to be on DVD and Blue ray are, Percy Jackson and the Olympians the Lightning Thief, Alice in Wonderland, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, and the Last Song.

Most of the students and teachers are excited for the third book of Twilight to come out into theatres on June 30, 2010. But even more students and teachers are excited to see Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part One when it comes to the big screen on November 19, 2010.  The one movie already viewed by students (teachers didn’t want to see or have seen) is Alice in Wonderland with Percy Jackson the Lightning Thief. Percy Jackson came out on the twelfth of February. Alice in Wonderland came out on March fifth.

The directors of these films are all different. David Yates directed Harry Potter, while David Slade directed Twilight Eclipse. Chris Columbus directed Percy Jackson. The funny thing is that Chris Columbus also directed Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone. Tim Burton directed Alice in Wonderland.

Everyone should know that there has to be at least one heartthrob in a film and some movies are easy to tell. From studying the look of students both Robert Pattinson (Edward Cullen) and Taylor Lautner (Jacob Black). The Harry Potter heartthrob is a tie between Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter) and Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley). The Percy Jackson heartthrob is Logan Lerman (Percy Jackson) and Jake Abel (Luke Castallahan). Alice in Wonderland may not have a really cute guy but they have a very experienced actor by the name of Johnny Depp.

Some of the movies  these actors have been in before are:

Johnny Depp: Pirates of the Caribean (1,2,3,&4); Charlie and the Chocolate Factory; and Sweeny Todd and much more.

Daniel Radcliffe: Harry Potter (1,2,3,4,5,6,7); & David Copperfield
Robert Pattinson: Harry Potter 4 Twilight (1,2,3,&4); Remember Me
Taylor Lautner: Twilight (1,2,3,&4) The Adventures of Shark boy and Lava Girl
